About the Artist

My interest in jewelry started when I was a child in grade school. Being from Native American Chippewa tribe background, I began to pursue seed bead and leather work in one of my Indian Culture classes.

As time went on, my tastes expanded into strung jewelry and metal work. I've lately expanded into using steel and also Kumihimo braiding. I tend to just follow what inspires me at the time. I've been told many times to narrow my tastes down to one area and create a niche but I just don't agree with that belief. I think it would be boring to focus on only one type of jewelry material or design.
